Instructions for Course Flow:

1) LUTCF Course 1 consists of multiple Course Topics that can be viewed in the Course Viewer to the right of your screen. Each Topic can be seen to the right of the word "Checklist". 

2) Each Topic consists of online course content that must be viewed in order beginning with LUTCF Introduction at the top of the screen.

3) The course content that you will view for each Topic contains a Learner Guide with fieldwork. This Learner Guide must be downloaded, completed, and emailed to LUTCF@naifa.org prior to advancement to the next Topic. The Learner Guide can be found in the Materials tab in your user interface. 

4) To complete your fieldwork, you will need to choose a mentor. Although the mentor does not need to hold the LUTCF designation, he or she should be someone known to you in the insurance and financial services industry who has accumulated a significant base of industry knowledge and experience.

5) Save the Learner Guide with the course name, first initial, last name, and date. For example,LUTCF.C1.Ethics.jdoe042423.pdf.

6) When all fieldwork assignments and questions have been completed, email your completed Learner Guide to lutcf@naifa.org. Please use the following naming convention for the email Subject line: C1-Ethics GuideSubmission for (insert your name)". The course Topic name will vary based on which Learner Guide you have completed. You will receive an acknowledgment of the receipt of your completed Learner Guide within one business day. Please allow up to 5 business days for your completed Learner Guide to be reviewed. 

7) Following NAIFA review of your Learner Guide, you will receive a code that will allow you to advance to the next module. This code is entered by you as a quiz response at the end of each course module so that you can advance to the next Topic. This code is YOUR code. Please do not share it.

8) Prior to advancing to the next module, please complete a short student experience survey. This survey is separate from the advancement quiz that requires a code from NAIFA.

9) If you receive an error message when attempting to view Topic course material in the Freestone Course Viewer, please refresh your screen or go back to the NAIFA Classroom and select the Topic that you wish to view. Also, please make sure that you do not have the same course material tab open more than once.
